Kearney Home Care Services provides round-the-clock services, seven days a week, to patients and their caregivers who live in the five boroughs of New York City (the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island) as well as in Nassau County on Long Island.
A member of our staff is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to receive your call.
We never employ an answering service.

In accordance with your needs, your eligibility, and your doctor's plan of care, our professional health care team will furnish the following programs of home care service:
Physician Services
For patients who require a doctor to visit them at home, Kearney Home Care Services provides board-certified physician services for assessment, continued evaluation, prescription of medication, monitoring the patient's condition, and for putting a home care or nursing care plan into place.
Nursing Services
Hands-on, state-of-the-art, skilled nursing care, together with patient/family/caregiver education, health guidance, comprehensive evaluations, assessments and referral to other community services appropriate to your needs are rendered by Registered Professional Nurses.
Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy
Our Physical Therapists will offer instruction and supervision in performing the activities of daily living, including exercise to restore physical functions, reang-of-motion exercises to prevent muscle atrophy, and other activities designed to increase your independence. Occupational therapists will assist you to regain your independence with daily activities, as well as with social and community integration.
Speech Therapy
Our Speech Pathologists, will offer assessments and/or treatment to improve your ability to communicate and to be understood.
Nutritionists / Dietitians
For patients who need special dietary instruction and coordination of dietary plans, our Nutritionists / Dietitians are readily available to help you.
Medical Social Work
Our staff Social Worker will assist you and your family in submitting applications for Medicare, Medicaid and/or Social Security, and in obtaining insurance information and details about reimbursement procedures.
Home Aide Services
Certified Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are available to you under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. They are qualified to assist you with health-related tasks and home management, if indicated, and with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding and/or light housekeeping.
A member of our professional health care team will discuss with you any medical equipment which may be required to promote your recovery. Kearney Home Care Services maintains working agreements with authorized suppliers of medical equipment, and will discuss options with you should the need arise.
We help our patients with information and referral services for individual, family and caregiver counseling, bereavement counseling, and personal care services (such as chiropody or chiropractic services, dental care, and hair cutting). Moreover, we employ and monitor the services of approved laboratory and X-ray technicians, ambulette and transportation services, and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
